Ethics drama; a fresh start

Another interesting beginning of the New Year for the Kern Valley Health Care District Board of Directors.
With a radical change in the arrangement of the directors, there is now a new Chairwoman of the board, Kathryn Knight, in the seat previously occupied by Radio Disc Jockey and self proclaimed, hosptial news source, Bob Jamison.
Prior to the monthly public board meeting, an ethics meeting took place an hour before the regular meeting.
This was the place where the legal counsel for the board,Scott Nave, was to begin the new year with a repeated message that the board must work together for the community. As well as ethical training as well.
However, sparks flew as Jamison, now 2nd vice chair, told the new chairwoman, Knight, that he would never be her friend because of an email. Knight countered that Jamison has been hostile and actively trying to undermine her and her husband for many years.
As an example Jamison wrote many emails deriding the Knights as well as posting blogs on his radio website which he would show to only a few then take it down as not to be detected.
Knight told Jamison that she had worked in many jobs, including teaching school and dealing with wayward children, and that this is the first time she has ever run into anyone who she couldn't find some middle ground with.
On QAB media they have been playing pseudo news type stories regarding the hospital and the new chairwoman.
Instead of engaging in the discussions at the Finance Committee meetings, Jamison spent the whole time text messaging and taking cell phone calls.
Next sound bites from the meeting show up on the air at QAB media, and Jamsion is calling it news.
At the regular board meeting, it was decided that Secretary of the board, Victoria Alwin, would now be the media spokesperson for the hospital. All news from radio to television must go thru this channel.
This resident of Weldon thinks if Mr. Jamison is to abide the laws of the district he will either cease and deisist reporting on the hospital or he will step down and then feel free to report anything his tiny little heart desires.
In other news, the board decided to move the monthly meetings to the first Wednesday of the month at the same time, 5:30pm.
