Kern Valley Healthcare District= public healthcare district paid for by government funds, the Hill-Burton Act in 1964, which serves the residents of the Kern River Valley. The surrounding community pays a small percentage of property taxes to support the healthcare district.
Board of Directors: KVHD has five elected board of directors which serve four year terms each. The directors are paid a modest sum for their service but they are also able to get insurance through the hosptial au gratis. (with cheese)

DON=Director of Nursing
DA=dumb asses that work for the hospital, could be anybody
SNF-Skilled nursing facility where elderly or severly disabled residents live
